The Problem
Classroom learning has declined since the pandemic. Through research and surveys, my partner and I identified a key pain point: students and parents were overwhelmed by the number of apps they had to navigate for school-related tasks.
Our Process
We ideated and prototyped several potential solutions, then conducted user testing with a dozen students and parents. The feedback led us to develop an all-in-one school portal app. We placed strong emphasis on information architecture and usability to ensure a clear, intuitive user experience.
The Result
Based on user feedback, we developed a customizable, multi-platform brand guide to ensure accessibility and consistency. The updated colors and design elements helped users navigate the three core user stories more effectively. In debrief sessions, both parents and students agreed the app would save time and support better learning outcomes.
